GREEN MATTERS

USA

The Better Packaging Co. is a team of passionate individuals determined to improve the state of the environment. Having seen firsthand the amount of plastic waste generated by the eCommerce industry, the company’s founders – Rebecca and Kate, decided to start with courier packaging.

They design revolutionary, customized packaging solutions for the new eco-nomy – a circular economy in which generating waste is not an option and the earth’s resources are not treated as infinite. They have sustainable packaging to support eCommerce and retail. Some of the products they create include alternatives to traditional plastic

Read our in-depth interview with Nikolett Madai founder of Dyeluxe, a Berlin-based start-up connecting the food and fashion industry to close circularity gaps whilst simultaneously creating value from by-product waste. Be inspired by individuals and brands within the textile industry redesigning dyeing practices from harmful to healing, such as Hul le Kes a contemporary label growing colour in their garden with collections based on seasonality.

We hope the stories and innovations within this feature inspire you to rediscover colour with a fresh perspective open to endless pigment possibilities within natural systems, as we believe the future of our wardrobes is bright and we hope you do too.
